Final approval must be given by all authors. Wiley has published the authorship criteria.

An article title should contain a short description about the research.

Ten to twelve words is the traditional recommendation for an article title. While this recommendation is good, the evidence behind it isn’t conclusive. Clarivate Analytics reviewed 4,000 articles in eight research areas for the average length and found that they were all over the same length. The average length for a title was 12.3, just below the 10-to-12-word recommendation. Here are some examples of appropriate title lengths. Here are some tips to ensure you have the right length title for your research.

Avoid using words or phrases that don't relate to the article when creating an article title. While a short title should convey the essence of the article, a longer title should not confuse readers. The title should catch attention, be catchy, and include the most relevant keywords. Here are some ideas to help you create an excellent article title.

Include interesting details in your draft. Be sure to include enough detail for readers to be interested. A draft title should include interesting details. A conclusion should conclude the article with an interesting cliffhanger. A long title can cause confusion as people may not be able to understand the connection between the main idea and the conclusion. If you choose a short title, it is a good idea for a new article title that is related to the original article's subject.

Trade names shouldn't be used

Here are some tips to avoid being accused of plagiarism. If the name of the company or product is already trademarked, avoid using it in the title. You must also avoid using the company's logo or trade name. Wiley style guidelines are also available. These guidelines will help you avoid plagiarism, and make your book look better.

If your manuscript is an in-house submission please ensure that all human participants have given informed consent and appropriate ethical approvals. Wiley requires authors to declare any and all potential conflicts of interest prior to submission, and the review process should be confidential. Wiley's policies, procedures and guidelines will prevent you from plagiarising. Find out more about the journal's peer-review process here.

Wiley uses AMA as a reference style if you are the author of a book or article. Wiley uses AMA and uses a corresponding Author Clause. You must give permission to reproduce the material and credit. If applicable, you should indicate the source of funding for the work. Wiley's copyright policies can be found here. Wiley books authors are required to credit all authors.

Articles should be peer-reviewed

Authors must cite all sources when submitting manuscripts to Wiley-VCH. All references must be cited with page numbers. They should be informative, fair, and not too much. Citations should be made to relevant databases, websites, publications, and programs. Wiley-VCH author Guidelines provide guidelines on how to cite Wiley-VCH article. The reference list must be double-checked after it is submitted.

The Wiley-VCH system provides copyrighted material, including photographs and images. The author must ensure that any images used in an article do not violate copyright. A copyright clearance center is available to make sure this does not happen. Articles published with Wiley-VCH have a DOI that is valid for the final version. Wiley-VCH offers authors a number of options in the event of issues regarding copyright.

Wiley considers publishing ethics important. The journal requires authors to provide their ORCID identification if they contribute to the manuscript. This is quick and easy. Wiley also requires authors to submit a contribution roles taxonomy. Authors are responsible for ensuring that all authors agree to the changes. Wiley's production staff does not require authors sign consent forms.

Wiley's guidelines should be followed before authors submit manuscripts. They should be written in American or British English. The Editorial Manager online submission tool is available at the "Submit a Manuscript” tab of the journal’s website. Authors should prepare two separate files. The main manuscript should not exceed one-inch in width. Graphics, tables and captions should be included within the text.

Acceptable video abstracts

Authors should use the same guidelines for video abstracts as they do for written manuscripts when creating them. The video must contain the main content of the paper, as well as results and clinical implications. Authors can choose to use professional video production companies like Research Square or create their video. After the manuscript is accepted, video abstracts may be made. If the work uses licensed video production programs or is commercially sponsored by a video production company, they will charge a fee.

Authors may submit video abstracts to Journal of Arthritis and Rheumatology and Arthritis Care & Research. Video abstracts should be no longer than five minutes, and must be submitted during the manuscript revision process. Video abstracts should be submitted using the "Video Abstract" file designation when uploading. Once the video abstract has been submitted, the author is contacted to discuss how the video can be submitted to the journal.

After acceptance of an abstract, the production team will contact author via email to discuss this process. Authors are required to read and sign the acceptance letter. Authors must carefully examine and return proof. A general copyright statement protects an Accepted Article after it has been published. Authors who have used third-party materials in their videos must credit the source. Video abstracts must be accompanied by text.
